Community Guidelines

Two people on a call, one of whom can leave at any moment. Most of what follows comes down to not being the reason she does.

The hard lines

Cross one of these and the account can go, first time.

  • Anything involving a minor, in any form, anywhere on the platform.
  • Threats of violence, or encouraging someone to hurt themselves.
  • Recording, screenshotting or otherwise capturing another person without their agreement.
  • Posting someone else's personal information without their consent.
  • Explicit, violent, terror-related or graphic material.

There is no warning track for these. They are the floor, not a guideline you negotiate with.

Behaviour that gets reported most

Pushing after a no, and demanding things in the first sentence.

Asking once is a question. Asking the same thing again after someone has declined is pressure, and it is the single most common reason a report gets filed here. If she has said she would rather not talk about something, the subject is finished.

Opening a call by telling someone to do something, show something, or move to another app is the other reliable way to get reported. It also does not work, which you would think would be enough of a reason on its own.

The grey areas, stated plainly

Flirting is fine. Explicit is not. Deciding where that line sits is not your call alone.

Flirting, compliments and adult conversation between two consenting adults are part of what this is. Explicit material is not allowed on this platform, and asking for it is a short path to being reported — not because anyone is scandalised, but because it is against the rules of the service you are using.

Discrimination is not a grey area dressed up as an opinion. Attacking someone for who they are is not banter.

Advertising, promotion and anything that looks like a scam are also out, including the version where it is disguised as a friendly suggestion.

Reporting and blocking

Both live on the other person's profile, not inside the call window.

This surprises people the first time. If something is happening right now, end the call — then open her profile and use report or block from there. Blocking is the quieter option and you do not have to justify it to anyone.

Report the things that are actually against these rules. Reporting someone for leaving a conversation is not that.

What happens after a report

It goes to the platform, which can remove content, suspend, freeze or terminate.

A report goes to the people who operate the platform, not to the person you reported. Depending on what happened and whether it has happened before, the outcome can be removal of the content, a temporary suspension, a freeze, or permanent termination of the account.

We are not going to publish a turnaround time on this page, because a number we cannot stand behind every single time is worth nothing to you.

If you are on the receiving end of a report

Write to us. Say what you think happened.

If access to your account has been restricted and you believe that is wrong, send us a message with your username and what you think the report was about. Arguing with the other person is not a route to anything.
